Silber General Manager, Telecom Products, Inc.
Bob Silber has been involved in the
payphone industry since 1986. His experience began with overseeing the
installation and management of a route of 1,500 payphones. At Telecom
Products, Mr. Silber started refurbishing out-of-service enclosures and
pedestals for resale. He was instrumental in the conversion of this facility
to a full line manufacturing plant from start to finish including enclosures,
pedestals, and related parts. Bob Silber has been involved in the
design process as well as the acquisition of equipment and machinery to
manufacture a product that would be of benefit to the IPP market. Mr.
Silber's experience also includes involvement with a number of state associations.
Telecom Products, Inc.
Telecom Products, Inc. (TPI) started
out refurbishing payphone enclosures for Independent Payphone Providers
(IPP) over 15 years ago. With the many changes in the industry and the
need for additional parts and enclosures, TPI became involved in manufacturing
enclosures, pedestals and related payphone enclosures parts.Currently TPI is manufacturing various
payphone enclosures popular in the payphone industry. Because of the capability
of in-house production, TPI is able to customize the type of enclosure
and color that will help the IPP reach the successful goal of a standout
installation.Since the payphone industry has changed
in many ways, it became necessary to find more innovative ways to enhance
and make more profitable the IPP's payphone investment. As a result of
much research, the Coin Aire machine was developed to help find additional
revenue for the IPP.TPI is also involved in custom sheet
metal fabrication of various metal parts. With the acquisition of a line
of security parts for the coin laundry industry, another avenue was paved
to utilize the manufacturing facility already in place. The capability
to produce various security parts as well as develop new designs, allows
TPI to spread its wings into new territories.With a solid core of dedicated employees
and a manufacturing facility that has just begun to enter new frontiers,
TPI looks forward to supplying the needs of interested customers. |
